How Long Does it Take to Reach Level 80?

When WOTLK first launched, a number of players found themselves amazed and frustrated at the rush of new players who were able to grind through the initial 1-70 content in less than a few days. There were players getting to Level 80 from level 58 with a Death Knight in the same amount of time it took normal gamers to reach 70-80. So, what should a new player expect for played times to Level 80?
